WEST VANCOUVER Police are attempting to identify a
man found floating in the water at the foot of 24th Street
Tuesday morning.

Police sey the body may he that of a man observed walk-
ing across the Lions Gate Bridge just before 3 a.m. ‘Tuesday.
A Coast Guard vessel and police searched near the bridge
and along the shore to 4:30 a.m. ‘The body was spotted by a
West Vancouver resident at about 8 a.m.

LONSDALE AVENUE from the waterfront to Queens
Road and along West Queens Road to east of the district

The closure will allow a torch run for the Torch-L. ighting
Ceremony of the B.C. Winter Games.
