One-man driving school

SHAUN CONLIN spends
most of his working hours sit-
ting in the passenger seat of a
Toyota telling people what's
wrong with their driving.

Conlin is the owner/operator of
Upper Levels Driving School. a
one-man operation he started 20
months ago, The 26-year-old
Carson Graham graduate learaed
his craft with the acknowledged
industry leader, the North Share
Driving School.

“The reason | got into this Tine
of work in the first place was |
was sick and tired of seeing peo-
ple driving like jerks.” the affable
Conlin says. “There's a serious
lack of courtesy going en in our
streets.”

After laboring for the Lonsdale
Avenue-based school, Contin
Jaunched his own school after
realizing the benefits of being his
own buss. In the process he his
also learned to Jive with the long.
