April 2 25, 1993 ~ North sh ora News NV FIRM GOES PUBLIC AFTER 13 years of operations as a privately held company, North Vancouver-based DBA Com- munications Systems will become a public company through a reverse takeover reorganization on the Vancouver Stock Exchange (VSE), Under terms of the reorganiza- tion, DBA Communications Systems Inc. and its three operating subsidiaries in the Unit- ed States, the United Kingdom and Australia, will become wholly owned subsidiaries of the newly named public company: DBA Telecom Corp. Trading in DBA Telecom Corp. started on April 21 under the trading symbol DBA on the VSE, The reorganization pian will provide the four operating com- panies with $900,000 in new equi- ty through a private placement of funds from shareholders and will create a structure that will facilitate additional financing to support the company’s growth.
