A total of 112 people were
polled in the North Van-
couver-Lonsdale riding where a
tight race appears to be form-
ing between Socred Marilyn

Baker and New Democrat
David Schreck.

Of the 112 people polled in
the riding, 17 said they would
vote Seered; 16 would vote
NDP and two would vote Lib-
eral. A further 40 respondents
said they do not know who
they would vote for in the
riding while nine refused to an-
swer,

Baker said the poll results
did not surprise her.

“T think they’re (poll results)

we're fin-
ding in our door knocking
cumpaien. Fifty per cent or
higher are undecided or won't
say,’” Baker said.

Schreck said he hopes the
poll results, which show dcecid-
ed voters on the North Shore
are feaning towards the
Socreds, ‘‘encourages Rita
Johnston to call an election
right now,
