RCMP investigate shooting death NORTH VANCOUVER RCMP are continuing investigation into the circumstances surrounding a weekend shooting death on Bowen Darran Dallas, 24, of 19 Cardena Drive, died after suffering a rifle gunshot wound to the chest at approximately 2:30 a.m. Sun- day. Dallas was rushed by water taxi to Horseshoe Bay, where he was transferred to Lions Gate Hospital. He was pronounced dead at the hospital at 3:30 a.m. The shooting occurred at a family cabin. New hospital v.p. named ULRICH HAAG has _ been named Lions Gate Hospital’s new vice-president of Human Resources. Re will be responsible for the hospital’s departments of employee relations, plant ser- vices, education services, linen services, library and chaplaincy. Haag, who took up his duties on Oct. 1, will also provide the administrative direction for Evergreen House, the hospital’s extended care unit. He had previously served as dean of human resources and organizational support at Kwantlen College. The two friends picked McLean’s age, 23, and 45 for the number of games he played before being traded io the Canucks. The nine-number combina- tion costs $84.
