Mr. Watts, is a member of the North Shore Heritage Advisory Committee and a member of the Board of Governors of the Interior Designers Institute of B.C. Anne Macdonald, former president and executive director of the North Vancouver Arts Council and founding member of Presentation House was made a honorary life member for her contribution to the arts in North Van- couver. Guest speaker Lister Sinclair, ex-producer of drama for C.B.C. and new Unitarianism origins traced The origins of Unitarian- ism and its U.S. founder William Ellery Channing will be the subject of a talk this Sunday in North Vancouver by Mac Elrod, minister of the New Westminster Unitarian Church. Channing first enunciated Unitananism in the U.S. when the early churches of New England were split on the doctrine of the Trinity. This strand of Unitarian- ism is interwoven with the Canadian version which arnved in Canada from Iceland. pa eh Pees Mr. Elrod will discuss the changes in position at that time, how they differed from the position of Channing’s contemporaries and how those ideas compare with present-day Unitarian be- liefs.
