THE NORTH Shore Economic
Development Commission (EDC)
is. producing a directory cf en-
viroumental and recycling services
and products on the North Snore.

“This directory is the first of its
kind on the North Shore and it is
being developed to provide infor-
mation to both consumers and
businesses about firms located in
the area which offer environmen-
tal and recycling services ard pro-
ducts,’’ said Christine Slanz, pro-
ject coordinator.

She added that the publication
will include over 150 companies in
about 20 different categories, in-
cluding environmental technology,

The B.C. Supercargoes’
Association is a group of marine
professionals with command ex-
perience at sea.

They work to assist shippers ”

and shipping agencies to plan and
directly supervise the loading and
unloading of cargo on deep-sea
vessels calling at B.C. ports.

Drive, has introduced the Rogers

Jolly Trolley Entertainment Centre °

for children’s hospitals across
Canada.

The entertainment centre is a
mobile trolley that houses a TV
set and a VCR plus videos and
can be wheeled up to a hospital
bed or used in a hospital's play
centre to show movies to patients.

Each cart has about 75 movies
including Disney classics and -
sports blooper tapes, carefully —
selected to case a patient’s stay in
hospital. .

Rogers Video has donated. the
Rogers Jolly Trolley and will par-
tially fund future trollies - by
donating a portion ‘of every rental
of a children’s. movie rented at .
