At 7:25 p.m., the Coast
Guard Auxiliary was dis-
patched to find a sinking ves-
sel off Point Atkinson. The

departed Fisherman’s Cove at
7:32 p.m. and arrived on
scene at 7:34 p.m.

The lifeboat crew discov-
ered the bilge-pump had
failed because it was clogged

ing from winter storage.
