Tomorrow, West Vancouver District Council is scheduled to make its final decision on the matter of a rec centre for the Gleneagles golf site. A good decision, if all arguments are satisfied that West Vancouver real- ly does need to build any such facility right now, would be to choose an option that would have the least impact on the golf course as it exists today. But does West Vancouver really need another rec centre? Regardless of the option chosen by council, the facif- . ity will not include a swimming pool or ice rink. How about simply upgrading the existing facility on 22nd Street?
