When you’re on vaca-
tion, the weather back
home is the last of your
concerns — especially if
you’re someplace

warm.

Let it snow, let it snow,

that probably runs
through your head when
you hear about the storm
that you’re missing.

But while you're enjoy-
ing a break, your house is
left to endure the ravages
of winter.

Sure, your house isn’t
the one that has to wear
four layers of clothes and
boots up to the knees.

Bur a fresh layer of
snow can put your house
-— and the belongings in it
— in dangers.

If the snow — stays
uncleared while all the
homeowners around you
are busy shoveling, it’s a
sure: sign that nobody is
home. /

make sure the house looks
lived in while you’re gone

newspaper delivery and
setting timers for the tights

drive a car up your drive-
way so that there are fresh
tracks,

reason to make snow shov-
eling, arrangements: your
public responsibility to

front of your house, does-
n’t end when you're away,

In fact, you could be
liable if someone falls and
gets hurt on a stretch that
you should have kept
cleaned,

For the sake of your

mention the unfortunate

struggle with the snow
while: you're away, don't
forget to have someone
take care of your shoveling
in your absence. With any
