Adam Smith would have loved
to play the game of POGs,

Who would have thought that’

simple cardboard milkcaps would
awaken the “capitalist spirit” among
so many young people? Players
wheel, deal, buy, sell, trade, and
:, gamble.

Skeptics argue that POGs is
merely a passing craze that demon-
strates the juvenile spirit of rivalry
and acquisitiveness.

The evil capitalist empire has
