tend the World Finals of
Odyssey of the Mind in June
in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Odyssey teams were
overseen by eight coaches,
parents who gained as much
from the competition as the
children. According to
Sheldon, the parents are try-
ing to raise money for all
four teams to attend the
worlds. Parents and children
alike are considering
fundraisers such as a casino
night and a walk-a-thon.

Between 30 and 35 people,
including children, coaches
and parents are working
towards making the trip to
Baltimore, The trip would
cost abou $650 per person
and would be from June 4-9.
Over 5,000 children are ex-
pected to attend the World
Finals. Contestants are
