Abby styled radio love-lines
and modern-day anguish
over how we appear to
others.

Set in Los Angeles, Choose
Me uses the seductive sound
of Teddy Pendergrass on his
album Love Language to
move the characters through
a jungle of sometimes serious
but mostly funny love
themes.

an additional 18 booths of

and a bit of his own past.
Handsome, smooth talking
and all around charming,
Mickey has only one or two
problems. He is either a
psychopathic liar or he really
did end up brain-washed in
Russia after being captured
as an American spy. Either
way, the guy is convincing
enough to capture the hearts
of every girl in Eve’s bar, in-
cluding Eve.

Eve, the tall, cool ex-
hooker just can’t seem to
break old habits and ends up

serving her male customers
more than just a long, cool
drink. Desperate to find
herself in love and life she
turns to Dr. Nancy Love, a
radio hot liner who offers her
listeners psychology on the
do's and don’ts of relation-
ships.

Unknown to both Eve and
Dr. Love (Genevieve Bujold),
the two end up sharing Eve’s
house. Eve knows Dr. Love
by her real name Ann and
doesn’t suspect that her new
room-mate is Dr. Love.

Bujold takes her sphit-
personality part and brings it
together with funny finesse.
As Dr. Love, she is the calm,
caring therapist devoted to
her radio audience and their
problems. As Anne, she is
seemingly on the edge of her
own psychosis, fantasizing
about men and slipping in
and out of her dream world;
until Mickey seduces her
while he is waiting for Eve to
