THE ANNUAL Speed Sport custom car show is
on this weekend at the PNE and the stars of the
show will be familiar to TV viewers.

Both the 1982 Pontiac —
K.1.T.T. — that is the star
of Knight Rider and the
high-powered Coyote X that
screeches around the sets for
Hardcastle and McCormick
will be on display
throughout the show, which
runs Oct. 26, 27 and 28.

Fans of rock and _ “—roll
music and videos will ap-
preciate a third entry — the

make the speed sport circutt
will be the highhghts of the
show, car fans and _ the

take in three buildings worth

of top local products in-
cluding a replcar of the
famous — or infamous —

Shelby Cobra built by West
Vancouverite John Bret-
tenor. The News will feature

more on that speciality car in
the near future.

Speed Sport ‘84 — with its
full range of custom ears,

street roads, bikes, boats,
antiques, off-road vehicles
and vans — runs Friday,

Saturday and Sunday. A $6
admission price gets you en-
try to the Food, Showmart
and North Forum Buildings.
($2 for children 12 years and
under).

The show is open trom §
to ll p.m. Friday, noon to
tl p.m. Saturday and noon
to 10 p.m. Sunday.

Because of the demand we are
now open Saturdays.
