1. 5800-bik. Eagle Island

Theft. Two outboard
motors taken off barges while
moored at Eagle Harbour
Marina. Two other outboards
tampered with. Both engines
recovered in nearby dinghy.

THE following people
appeared in North
Vancouver courts
recently to face various
charges:

Before Judge Jerome
Paradis in North Vancouver
provincial court on Oct, 2:

Christopher Lee Ainslie,
21, of West Vancouver,
received nine months’ proba-
tion after he pleaded guilty to
assaulting a person on Sept.
7, 1997 in North Vancouver
City.

Ainslie was required to pay
$342.99 restitution to the
North Vancouver RCMP and
$150 to the victim.

A probation term order
states that Ainslie is not to be
found in a North Shore Taxi
cab.

David Joseph Warren, 24,
of North Vancouver, received
six months’ probation after
he pleaded guilty to obstruct-
ing a peace officer on Sept. 7,
1997 ja North Vancouver.

Warren was required to
perform 40 hours of commu-
nity work service.

Break and enter. Kitchen
door pried and kicked in.
Second incident this week.
Stolen: VCR, telephone, U.S.
cash, jewelry, watch.
