Oa one occasion he helped escort the Queen and Prince Phillip on their visit to the Peace. 's 1966 he becsme the instant father when he mariied Marianne Deebee, a wicow with three young sors. The family was inceezsed by another son and a daughter, in 1968 and 1970. fa 1978 the family moved to Sicamous, B.C.
