In recent years, paint finishes have
become much more hi-tech and the atmosphere they are exposed to
is far more hostile. A base-coat/clear-coat paint process is now
common, this is where the color is sprayed first and then a shiny
clear-coat is applied on top. While this does give a deeper &
smoother finished product, it is a more expensive process and
repairs are more costly.

Environmental pollutants such as acid rain wreak havoc
on a paints finish, literally eating through the paint.

Applying a wax or acrylic paint protector is a good
insurance policy. These products create a clear shiny barrier to the
elements. Paint protected cars don't get dirty as quickly and are
easier to clean because dirt does not stick to protected paint.

Regardless of the type of paint on your car, a regular

application (annually or biannually) of pain Protection will prevent

oxidization (a dulling of the finish) and build up of grime, reduce
minor seratching and generally improve the resale value of your car,
