The bylaw’s purpose is to en- sure that the wording of municipal bylaws conforms with current municipal and provincial legisla- tion, while updating various terms and clarifying definitions. But Capt. George Murrell of the Ambleside & Dundarave Ratepayers disputed ciaims at a March 18 West Vancouver Coun- cil meeting that the new bylaw would not affect current municipal procedures. Roy Bartholemew -of the Gleneagles Ratcpayers was also concerned, pointing out cases where he said the amendment might affect density and building design.
