lighting, script, editing, and special
effects. The class will produce a
music video selected from submis-
sions by class participants. Origi-

VHS and equipment is provided.

Instructor David Cooperstone is
a graduate of McGill University
and has 14 years experience in the
educational and production field
of media and video. He is one of
the owners of The Studio and
plans to take the class on a tour of
his facility.

choose when you're angry?

Resolving Conflicts, a six session
course sponsored by North Shore
Family Services, will begin Wed-
nesday, Oct. 8 from 7:30 to 9:30
p.m. at Carson Graham School.
The fee is $30.

For most of us, most of the
time, differences between people
aren’t settled once and for all, they
lurk there waiting for a chance to
be expressed. People who are not
defeated by rage and conflicts
know two things: when to keep
quiet about trivial angers, and how
to argue about the important ones
in order to bring forth positive
change.

The course will begin to explore
these feelings for people in dif-
ferent situations.

WEST VANCOUVER Little
Theatre and Deep Cove Stage will
be presenting Night of January 16

The production is a suspenseful
courtroom drama set in 1944. It
centres around the murder trial of
notorious Karen Andre, accused of

murdering her lover,

The jury, picked from the au-
dience, will decide the dramatic
conclusion of the play.
