wite of Peter Torrance died sud-
denly on Sept. 2, 1986 at home.
Born in Harrogate, Yorkshire,
England. Survived by her brother
Jerry Steel of Campbell River,
B.C., niece Fay Heard of Duncan,
B.C. Caroline was a charter
member of the Dickens Fellow-
ship, Vancouver, a member of the
Arbutus 1.0.D.E. Chemainus, 8.C.
and the Saltaire Garden Club.
Memorial service was heid in the
First United Church, 3rd and High
St. Ladysmith, B.C. on Monday,
September 8, 1986 at 2 p.m. Rev,
