NV lawyer named to tribunals.

NORTH Vancouver lawyer and
mediator Terry Harris was one
of 14 people recentiy appointed
to serve on the provincial gov-
ernment's Children’s
Commission tribunals.

Harris is a chartered mediator with

the B.C. Arbitration and Mediation
Institute. He has acted as a mediator in

child protection cases and has worked in
residential youth care and family service
agencies, according to the Ministry of the
Attorney General.

The Children’s Commission tribunals
were set up this month by Attorney
General Ujjai Dosanjh.

The tribunals can conduct indepen-
dent formal reviews of complaints about
children in government care.
