N.Van artist celebrated at show opening

IT was a quaint gathering of colleagnes, friends, family. art
appreciators, and interested: passers-bye, North Van's Jane
Richardson, known to many asa faculty member at Capilano
College, recently unveiled her latest works of art in the West
Vancouver Memorial Library Gallery, She was artist of the
month for June, The show, tded Textures in Acrylic was a
collection of 13 works in acrylics and multimedia. Peaple,
enjoying tea and biscuits, meandered through the gallery
pausing to inake favorite selections and reference them with
the artist's info sheet, Many hugs of celebration and congrats
were shared,
