SPRING BULBS - These are now appearing on our store shelves, and
thenext two weeks or sowilloffer the opportunity forbest selection. You
should then store them properly in a cool, dark, dry place until at least
early to mid March. Premature planting can result in losses due to water
logged beds which will rot the bulbs. Use either bone meal or a good
quality bulb food for best growth. Enriching planting areas with mush-
room manure or peat moss can also pay big dividends.

CAMELLIAS

These beautiful spring flowering shrubs will very shortly ve in full r |
bloom, and are adaptable to a number of areas in your garden.

Partial shade is recommended, but too little sun will result in poor
bud set. Treat the same as rhododendrons and azaleas, e.!. soit
rich in peat moss and a 4-12-8 fertilizer 1 GAL POT
