According to the program phi- losophy, the secret to lifetime weight management is learning how to control food and not to let it control you. This requires a commitment to change some aspects of your environment, at- titudes, thoughts and acquired habits relating to food and cating. The Y-WEIGHT program, through seif-tests, problem-solv- ing, tecord keeping and group and individual counselling, reinforces the development of healthier habits specific to individual weight con- cerns.
