BY-LAW NO. 5875 To amend the text of the Zoning By-law to prohibit the buik loading, bulk unloading, bulk storage, production, tefining or processing of dangerous goods by adding the definition ‘Dangerous Goods’. The Zoning By-law will be amended further to add a definition of ‘Dangerous Goods’ and alter the definition of ‘industrial Use’. The new definitions will read as follows: ‘Dangerous Goods’ means explosives, propane, propylene, vinyl chloride, sulphur dioxide, chlorine, ammonia (anhydrous) and liquified ammonia solutions, propylene oxide, gasoline, aviation fuel, dichlorethane, vinyl acetate, toluene, methanol, styrene monomer, calcium carbide, hydrogen peroxide, sodiurn chiorate, calcium or sodium cyanide, phenol, pesticides/herbicides, radioactive material, fissile, sulphur acids, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, polychiorinated biphenyls, perchioreothylene, dichlorobenzene, pentachloro- phenols, crude oil, waste oil, potassium cyanide. ‘Industrial Use’ which means a use providing for the processing, fabricating, assembling, transporting, distributing, wholesaling, storing, testing, servicing, repairing, wrecking or salvaging of goods, materials, or things; includes the operation of truck terminais, docks, railways, passenger depots and bulk loading and storage facilities; excluding, a grain elevator use and the bulk loading, unloading, storage, production, tefining or processing of dangerous goods.
