NO PROTEST
' While Exposé points a comical

whole cast likes the world’s fair.
“I'm a firm supporter of Ex-
po,”’ McCandlish said. “it is not a
protest, but somebody had to do

it. Somebody had te do a spoof on.

Expo.”’

“Six out of seven of the cast and
crew have season’s passes,’” added
Leiren-Young.

McCandlish attended . acting
classes at Handsworth Secondary.
She received a scholarship, attend-

ed thiee years of acting school and

has. worked in various Vancouver
productions before coming: to Ex-
posé,

The show opens on June 26 and
tickets are $4, but the cooperative
company also has a half-priced
preview show on June 25.

Exposé runs through to July 5
with a special pay-what-you-can
benefit.on July 2 when all proceeds
go to.the Vancouver Food Bank. ”
