Cheese sandwich ($4) from Troll’s §

children’s selection. -

Service was prompi: and cheer-
ful. The fish and chips got full
marks for size of order, and the
chips themselves were first-rate —
thick and freshly cut. But the fish

. got lost in too much heavy batter.

The smoked cod was good, if a

- trifle non-descript. Accompanying

vegetables were boiled beyond rec-
ognition.

‘Over in the booster-seat section,
the wee man’s order. featured pro-
toasted
white. bread, all accompanied with
a massive supply of French fries.

Troll’s. remains a good family
restaurant, with an excellent loca-
tion and a long history. {ts new
menu selection is aimed at phere
everyone, ,. . which,
