REGARDLESS OF PARTY Election sign vandals bring reward offer WEST VANCOUVER-Ho- we Sound NDP candiate Claus Spiekermann is of- fering $200 reward for the conviction of anyone vandalizing election signs — regardless of which party the signs promote. Like his NDP counterpart in’ North WVWancouver- Seymour, David Schreck, Spiekermann- has_ had literally hundreds of his election signs stolen from lawns outside the homes of his supporters. While 50 per cent of the signs he has distributed have been stolen or vandalized, Spiekermann’§ says_ the reward applies to the Pub lovers, haters still battling it OPPONENTS of a proposed neighborhood pub in Dundarave_ rallied their forces last week after noting that West Vancouver council has recently been inundated with scores of letters from supporters of the project. Council received a form- letter petition signed by more than 120 residents protesting the proposal to turn a portion of Sager's Maple Shop into a pub.
