Car thiet, 13, caught in WV A 13-year-old girl was pulled over on Jan. 16 for driving erratically near 14th Street and Marine Drive in West Vancouver. The underage driver was accompanied by another 13- year-old girl and an Tt -year- old boy. The voungsters were Vancouver residents, said West Vancouver Police Sgt. Jim Almas. Almas said the trio were in a stolen red Mazda 323 with Washington state plates. The car had been stolen near Templeton secondary in Vancouver. Almas said the police were alerted to the car at 7:30 pm. on the Saturday night after a caller reported a possible impaired driver near 13th Street and Marine Drive. The driver is facing a charge under the Young Offenders Act of thett over $5,000. The waitress was net injured during the noon inci- dent ar the restaurant located in the 100-block of West 3rd Streei, according to the North Vancouver RCMP. Police say the 53-year-old North = Vancouver man pushed the waitress. The man is facing charges of assault and fraudulently obraining food. ‘The man’s name was not released to press time.
