Robert Moth se and Doris
Walker

Robert Arthur and Doris (née Jackson) Walker were
married 60 years ago on July 24, 1937, in Sheffield,
England. Mr. and Mrs. Walker moved to North Vancouver
15 years ago to join family. They have one son, four
grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter, Jordan.
They are celebrating this happy occasion at the home of
their son, Bob, and his wife, Sheryl, surrounded by fami-
ly and friends. ;

tone Eden celebrated her 90th birthday July 13. A
family gathering at her daughter and son-in-law’s,
Eunice and Clifton Marriott, included four of her five
grandchildren and her four great-grandchildren. fone
and her pareins were the first to drive a Willys-Knight
touring car frorn Ontario to Vancouver, arriving in June
1925. The wagon ruts on the prairies didn't fit the car
wheels and the Big Bend pass through the rockies
was gravel with no guard rails! Happy birinday!

Doris and g USSE if Sensen

Russell and Daris Jensen were married July 13, 1947,
In Sierra Madre, California. They have two children,
Michael (wife Linda) and Patricia, and two grandchildren:
Steven and Kimberley. Moving to Vancouver in 1966,
they took over a hardware store in Kitsilano. They moved
to the North Shore in 1972 where they owned and oper-
ated Jensen’s Garnier Hadware in Edgemont Village for
17 years. Their 50th anniversary was celebrated in Maui
with daughter Patricia and granddaughter Kimberley.
Happy golden wedding anniversary!

Stephanie Lucu Z
and Derek C. Hurst

Stephanie Ludwig-Hurst and Derek Hurst were married
in the garden of the Park Royal Hotel between the rain
showers on May 3. The late-afterrioon ceremony was fol-
lowed by a Marguis Reception on the grounds of the
hotel. After honeymooning in Kauai, the couple returned
to their home in North Vancouver. Congratulations!

North Vancouver residents Ron and Mary (née
Hampton) McLeod were married at St. John's Anglican _
Church on July 19, 1952. On the original church steps
were brothers Dary| McLeod, Frank Hampton, Best Man

Margaret Clark and niece Joan Hampton. The couple has.
