RecCentre offers unique opportunity

RECCENTRE LONSDALE is of-
fering a unique oppurtunity for
beginner and advanced
photographers.

Nature Photography is a
workshop that will appeal to any
photographer interested in the
outdoors, say organizers.

Photographer Paul Lazarski will
instruct the course on Tuesday,
June 18 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at
the recCentre located at 123 East
23rd St., North Vancouver.

Father’s Day

CELEBRATE FATHERS’ Day at
Horseshoe Bay on Sunday, June
16.

Horseshoe Bay is having its an-
nual community day and a warm
welcame is extended to come and
join the fun from 12:45 to 5 p.m.

You can enjoy the parade,
entertainment and music in the
park, or take a boat ride into
Howe Sound, visit the arts and
crafts show, waich roving magic,
Native carvers and caricaturists.

There will be food and bever-
ages, face painting, free balloons
for the children and lots of fun
for the whole family.

workshops including co-presenta-
tions with such renowned
photographers as Freeman Patter-
son, Courtney Milne and Robert
Stahl. His photographs have ap-
peared in many publications such
as Key Porter’s new book, The

Last Wilderness.

The workshop will cover a
variety of topics including desien,
composition, close-ups,  inter-
pretive shots and the comparative
use of slide films.
