couver provincial courthouses
recently to face various charges
laid against them.

Before Judge J.D. Layton in
North Vancouver provincial court
on Feb, 6:

Manuel Guerrero was fined $100
after the 23-year-old North Van-
couver man pleaded guilty to
mischief in connection with an
Oct. 2, 1988 incident in which a
Pane glass door at the St. Alice
Hotel was kicked.

Before Judge R.D. Grandison in
Norih Vancouver provincial court
on Feb, 3:

Tony Michaet Bosco was fined
$100 and placed on probation tor
four months after the 21-year-old
North Vancouver man pleaded
guilty to possession of stolen
property in connection with an
Oct. 26, 1988 incident in which a
Maruishi Escape bicycle was seized
by police.

He was also ordered to pay $100
in compensation to the victim.

Jamie Randall Hardy was fined
$200 after the 19-year-old West
Vancouver man pleaded guilty to
breaching the terms of his praba-
tion by failing to complete 50
hours of community work service
within six months.

Tom Kost Makowichuk was fin-
ed $200 after the 43-year-old Port
Moody man pleaded guilty to driv-
ing without due care and attention
on the Upper Levels highway in
connection with a Nov. 21, 1988
incident.

Before Judge S.E. Giroday in
North Vancouver provincia) court
on Feb. 2:

Nicholas Neil Seldon received a
suspended sentence and a one-year
probation term after the 20-year-
old North Vancouver man was
found guilty of mischief in connec-
tion with an Oct. 3, 1988 incident
in which a window was broken ata
North Vancouver residence.

Before Judge C.1. Walker in North
Vancouver provincial court on
Feb. 2:

Christopher Darren Reed was
placed on probation for one year
and ordered to perform 50 hours
of community work service after
the 18-year-old North Vancouver
man pleaded guilty to assaulting
another male in connection with an
Aug. 4,198 incident in the Distr-
ict of North Vancouver.

Michael Harvo Matsubuchi,
another 18-year-old North Van-
couver male, was also placed on
probation for one year and
ordered to perform 50 hours of
community work service after he
was found guilty of assaulting the
same male.
