Feline triend
wins hearts
of seniors

WHEN A STRAY cat arrived at Kiwanis Lodge
in West Vancouver last July, she won a lot more
hearts than anyone there might have anticipated.

operation on Mikko's leg,

the cat was hit by a car,
Secord explained

With a pin in her leg,
Mikko hobbled around for
two months while the trac
ture healed, and at wasn't
until early November that
the final stitches were
removed
