It is well known to all
those candidates, both

there is, regrettably, a very
low voter turnout. I am
certain that Council would
like to see more par-
ucipation by the community
in municipal affairs and so
would I and the North Shore

the last six years, more than
thirty-five thousand people
have died on Canadian

fifty percent of all the adult
pedestrians killed were
impaired at the time of their
