Before Judge Ellen Burdett in North Vancouver provincial court on Jan. 17: Roberr Charles Redden, 24, of West Vancouver, was fined $250 and received 12 months’ probation after he pleaded guilty to being the driver who failed to stop at an accident scene on March 4, 1996, in North Vancouver City with intent to escape civil or criminal liability. Redden was required to pay $180 to the victim. eee Abdulkadir Mamow Sheikh, 31, of Vancouver, received six months’ proba- tion after he pleaded guilty to Possessing a stolen Scars cred- it card on Dec. 2, 1996, in North Vancouver City.
