Environmental Service Committee established

Public works, infrastructure merged with environment programs by West Van council

THE FORMATION of a
hew committee of council
was announced at the Dee.
6 West Vancouver District
Council meeting.

The Environmental Service
Committes will combine all
aspects of infrastructure, public
works and environmental services
and programs.

The amalgamation of the old
public works committee and. the
environmental committee will be
co-chaired by Coun. Andy
Danyliu and Coun. Ron Wood,

Coun, Rod Day and Coun,
Allan Williams will oversee the
issues looked at by the Planning
and Land Use Committee.

Community Services, which will
include parks and recreation,
social services, youth programs
and artisti¢ endeavors, will fall
under the leadership of Coun. Pat
Boname and Coun, Diana Hurt-
chinson,
