\LOCAL RESERVE MEMBEKS OF Engineer Squadron, the North Shore’s sty military reserve unit, will be on show at Capilano Mall Sept. 19. The unit will man a disptay outside the matl (near the liquor store entrance), showing some of its equipment, including the new ds — a run-about vehicle which replaces the wartime Jeep. There will also be a video presentation and demonstrations of military radios. Squadron members will be available to answer questions. Six Field Engineer Squadron was founded in 1911 by Lt. Col. James Pemberton Fell, after whan the Forhes Ave. armory and both Pemberten and Fell avenues are named. Ai! members Six Field po Rare wines to Be auctioned WINE CONNOISSEURS will have the chance to bid on fine vintage wines at the Vancouver Museum’s Second Annual Wine Auction Monday, Sept. 21. An annual fundraising event to benefit the Vancouver Museum, the reception and auction will feature the wines of Chateau Mouton Rothschild. In ail, 57 bottles of wine will be auctioned in 31 lots. In addition to donations of one bottle each of 1934, 37, 66, 75 and one case each of the 1985 and 86 vintages from Chateau. Mouton Rothschild, many of the wines are donations from private cellars in Vancouver. They include a bottle of Chateau D Yquem 1979, a double magnum of Chateau Petrus 1974, and a selection of 1963 vintage Ports. For Jovers, and lovers of wine, there will be a draw for a special door prize. The winner will receive a pair of Air Canada tickets to Paris and a personalized tour and lunch at Chateau Mouton Rothschild in Bordeaux, Tickets to the Vancouver Museum Wine Auction are $50 per person, and are available by calling the museum at 736-4431. A tax receipt for $35 per ticket will be issued. After qualification, army reservists may tempararily serve full time with the squadron, with RECORD OR the cegulur force at CFB Crilliwuck (on courses or Crain- ing); at bases in castern Canada or with Canada’s NATO forces in Europe. Maximum enrolment age was recently increased from 32 to 52 years.
