C-h-i-}-l-i-w-a-c- k- C-oFt-s. Thats because the Caps snapped a six game losing streak with a record 15-3 victory over the Colts. The Caps have been struggling lately in their B.C. Junior Hockey League play, but it’s been worse for the Colts. Losing to NorWes at the North Van Rec Centre Sunday night dropped them to just one win against 19 proved to five victories and 16 defeats. winning The 15 goals spearheaded by Kent Davis, Geoff Harrigan, Craig Hill and defenceman John Clynyk with two goals each. At West Van Arena on Sunday, Danny Corrigan’s hat trick paced the Rockets to a 7-5 win over the Port Coquitlam Blazers to keep the Rockets undefeated in the Metro League standings. The two teams traded goals in the first period with the Rockets’ Brian Chatfield netting the first one just six minutes into the game and the Blazers replaying just three minutes later. Penalties were almost the Rockets’ downfall in the second period and only some superb goaltending by Glen Luscombe prevented the game from getting out of the Rockets’ range.
