selection of volunteer oppor-
tunities available through
North Shore Community
Services (NSCS).

Summer camp childcare
support staff is needed by
an organization (hat runs a
day program for children in
July and August. Volunteers
help with games, crafls, set-

up and clean up. A criminal
records check is required.

Peer counsellors and
group facilitators are needed
by a Vancouver-based orga-
nization that helps women in
crisis, Volunteers may help
with support over the phone
or may co-facilitiate a sup-
port group, Training is: pro-
vided.

A weaving instructor is
needed by 4 seniors’ recre-
ational organization.

Familiarity with both
table and floor looms and
good communication skills
are required. Classes are
normally held Tuesday
mornings and last two hours.

ON MONDAY, MAY 6TH, West Vancouver Municipal Transit will
introduce bus service between Park Royal and the Cedardale area.
The service will operate as #255 Cedardale/Park Royal on the
following route:

HOW OFTEN AND WHEN?
Service is every 30 minutes on week-
days during peak periods and every 60
minutes during nan peak periods, until
approximately 7 p.m. Service is not
provided on Sundays and Holidays.
