CAT combats auto theft

MORE THAN 6,000 vehicle
owners from across B.C. have
registered their cars in the Combat
Auto Theft (CAT) program.

The program has been offered
through police departments to the
public for less than three months.

Vehicle owners who want to
participate in the CAT program
can simply visit any police office
or detachment in the province, a
BCAA service centre or an ICBC
claim centre to obtain an applica-
tion form to register.

CAT is a joint program of
BCAA, !CBC and municipal
police and RCMP detachments.
