“STAMPS: SINGLE ‘Idea, Multi-

ple Images’, a new display now at
Posthouse, explores the complex
and fascinating process of stamp
design and production.

Postage stamps are the result of
a variety of production techniques
involving artistic talent, ingenuity
and advancement in the field of
printing and reproduction of
miniature images. The exhibit
focuses on the progression from
the initial concept fo: the skills and
technical elements required to
produce these small works of art.

Produced as a travelling exhibit
from the National Posta! Museum
in Ottawa, the display will be open
to the public until! November 3.

Posthouse features many
fascinating displays as well as
video presentations and a philatelic
counter. Free of charge, Posithouse
is open Monday to Friday, 8 a.m.
to 5 p.m., at 1010 Howe Street,
Vancouver. Guided tours for
groups are available by calling
