Local mall to see changes

A PROPOSED addition to the lit-
tle mail to the north of Lynn
Valley Centre includes an extensive
upgrading of the appearance of the
buildings

North Vancouver District has
issued a development permit to
Dodson and Moroz Architects on
behalf of K.S. Yip and George Yen
and Associates.

According to District Planner
Doug Allan, the plan emphasizes
the revitalization of Lynn Valicy’s
commercial core by encouraging
the redevelopment of existing
underutilized commercial sites and
by encouraging building designs
which create a more unified ap-
pearance within the core area.

The proposed changes include
2,580 square feet of new retail
space at the north end of the main
building, a 1,300 square foot addi-
tion to the Pharmasave Drug Store
and 2,365 sq.ft. of new retail space
between the two.
