LONGTIME North Vancouver school trustee Dorothy Lynas died Friday at Lions Gate Hospital. She would have tured 86 on Sept. 2 Lim ws was admitted to hes- pital Monday, Sept. 8, in failing health and died at 12:05 a.m. on Sept. 19 of heart failure. Sie was surrounded by family. ; Lynas, neé Dorothy Beattie Spencer, was first elected to the school board in _ 1956 and served continuously for the next 30 years. Her length of service is unmatched in the province.
