With the. Lower Mainland now the third most filmed-in city in North America (behind New York and Los Angeles) the 42- year-old director is one of the most sought-after in his field. This Past year he has been sec- ond-unit action director for ABC TV's The Commish and was sec- - ond-unit director of photography for 20 episodes of The X-Fifes. He also directed the 15-minute inde- pendent film The Shoot-out and the pilot The Rock Pirates. There is so much employment available to him that this summer he has spent as much as 80 hours a week working on the Walt Disney feature film Man 2 Man (which stars, in no particular order, Chevy Chase, Chief Leonard George, Farrah Fawcett and George Wendt) and the new FOX television series Mantis. His work on the latter is as second- unit action director.
