and Techniques manager Doreen
Ruud suggests a basket with coffee
beans, a grinder and mugs — all
available at the store.

‘Knives are always a good gift,
good for men or for couples,’’ she
says.

To go along with that special
new kitchen knife, there is an elec-
tric knife sharpener on the market
that can be used for general grin-
ding to fine honing.

“That’s a really nice gift for a
family for a house gift,’’ Ruud

says of the electric sharpener, a far
cry from the sharpeners on the
back of a can opener.

“Anything really food-related
we have,"’ says Ruud. “We have
quite a range of things. A!l
gadgets, for instance, are good for
your stocking stuffers.’”

And with the extensive line of
gadgets such as whisks, strawberry
hullers, mushroom brushes and
honey dippzrs, to name a few,
