OCIOBER 13 1986 THE HANDYDART is heading to Expo this summer. This is good news for all those who can’t use conventional transit systems. Users will be dropped off at the main gate (East Gate). Then they can use Expo’s free shuttle bus or Lift Van between all the gates and Canada Pavilion, making half hourly trips. To fit in with scheduling for this 7 Handydart heads shared ride door-to-door transpor- tation system to Expo, users should make arrangements a week in advance and must always be ready at least 15 minutes before scheduled pick-up time both going and returning. It will be difficult or impossible to find a wheelchair cab at Expo and would cost a great deal more than the $1.25 Handydart fare.
