ty Council's decision to re-
ject the proposed
neighborhood pub by
Picasso’s restaurant last
Monday was a 4-2 vote, not
a 3-3 vote as earlier
reported,

With two aldermen in
favor of the pub and three
aldermen against the pub,
Mayor Jack Loucks changed
his previous leanings in
favor of the pubto against, to
receive and file the applica-
tion.

Picasso’s owner Mike
Fournogerakis said he in-
tends to reapply to North
Van City when there is a full
council.

Said Ald. Ralph Hall: ‘'!

of double standards. Why is
there such an urgency to kill
this? A sizeable amount of
residents are in favor of a
neighborhood pub. The ap-
