Some of the men from my senior classes, both graduates and tenderfeet, will be demonstrating their skill with a skillet during the Senior Days promotion at Park the kitchen by Eleanor Godley ne] Royal, starting tomorrow. They will be on the South side, at 2 p.m. Thursday, and will then go over to the North side to repeat the stint. There'll be similar activity on the Sarurday. Do come round and encourage them — learn ing to cook ts one of the most important lessons of their lives. The demonstrations are be- ing undertaken as part of a larger effon to recrun some class keaders, such as myself. 1 have so much fun with these classes that | can truth fully say to you that the satisfactions are multuplc if you wish to accept a class, onc day a week, or [wo if you’ve lots of tame (they run for ten weeks), cach group will take roughly four hours of your ume for cach session We convene between 10-30 and 11-00, prepare and cook and talk about’ the lunch we're making, cnjoy tt together: and then cican up (we use a rota basa) Onc wants to have ampic ume, as these chaps for the most part have absolutely no acquaintance with kitchen tools, kitchen language or kitchen conduct, and have many questions, all of which must be answered carefully.
