The bylaw officer told the Neelds they .were breaking the law and the geese would have to be removed: Petronio said there were no more complaints until February’9 when Karadontis complained again. THREATENING’ “She had to drive them (the geese) away by ringing a bell and carrying a garden rake.” The court was told that she had to do this because “the geese made threatening noises and gestures.” Although the Neeilds pleaded guilty to keeping geese on their property they denied that the geese were domesticated and told the _ court that all they had done . was feed them. “We put out feed for all kinds of wild animals that came around the property.” Norman Neeld said. He said the geese in question happened to stay _and came up for their lunch every day. “We had no way of controlling them.
