B.C., providing grants to
charitable organizations as
directed by donors, and from
discretionary funds in the
fields of arts and culture,
child and family, education,
environment, health and wel-
fare, youth activities, and
medical research.

Total funds available for
arts and culture programs
and projects in 1999 is
approximately $1 million.

costs of tuition, travel and liv-
ing away from home may
exceed what many students
and their families can afford.
Therefore, Vancouver
Foundation initiated the
Advanced Arts Study Awards
to help develop the talent
from our province.
